What to Expect

🏥 Prior to the Appointment

  • Parents share child’s symptoms, frequency of attacks, and past medical history.

  • Previous reports like spirometry, chest X-rays, or allergy tests may be reviewed.

👩‍⚕️ During the Appointment

  • Physical examination of chest, nose, throat, and skin.

  • If needed, immediate nebulization therapy is provided in a child-friendly setup.

  • Doctor may recommend lung function tests, skin prick tests, or blood tests for allergies.

  • Individualized treatment plans including inhalers, anti-allergy medications, or immunotherapy.

📋 After the Appointment

  • Parents receive a clear asthma action plan to manage symptoms at home.

  • Education on trigger avoidance (dust-proofing, diet changes, pollution control).

  • Regular follow-up visits or tele-consultations to adjust treatment as the child grows.
