  • Catch-up schedules are available for children who missed doses.

What is the Purpose

  • To protect children from life-threatening infections such as polio, measles, diphtheria, hepatitis, meningitis, and HPV.

  • To strengthen immunity during the most vulnerable stages of growth.

  • To reduce disease outbreaks and create community protection (herd immunity).

  • To minimize school absenteeism and long-term health complications.

  • To provide parental counseling about vaccine safety, side effects, and future boosters.

  • Proper hygiene and cold-chain maintenance ensure safe and effective vaccination.

  • The child is observed for a short period post-vaccination for any immediate reactions.
